Mark Wilkins and the No. 61 Ford Riley paid a visit to Northway Ford
in Brantford so fans could get a close up look at the car and talk with
Mark about the team's racing season and two victories in 2008. Northway
Ford was holding a special sale day that included a barbeque lunch for
visitors to the dealership. The No. 61 attracted quite a bit of attention
and Mark was kept busy chatting with the fans.
"We're happy that we could come out to support the dealer," Mark commented.
"Ford Racing and their partner Roush Yates Engines were an integral
part of our success this season. This is our opportunity to show our
thanks by visiting with Ford dealers and talking with customers who seem
quite interested in the technology of the sport. We hope to be able to

AIM Autosport's win at Montreal voted "Moment of
The Year"
(09.23.2008) One of the highlights at this year's Rolex Grand Am Awards
Banquet was the announcement of the results of fan voting for the Series'
Moment of The Year. The victory at Montreal where the Exchange Traded
Gold No. 61 Ford Riley took the checker by a margin of just 64/1000ths
of a second - after starting the final lap in fourth place, was voted
by fans as the "Moment of The Year". The closest finish in
series history would also mark AIM's first win which was made more remarkable
as the only Canadian team in the series won in the only Canadian race
on the schedule.
